I have it on my 9.5 SP1 Core but I just checked my old Core and it had it in my 9.0 SP3. Check to see if you have it available on the Core go to Configure | Inventory History and in the Inventory Change Settings go to Computer | Security and see if the Patch History is available and I checked all boxes available for Inventory.

One word of warning (I may be reading this overly sensitively, but I've learned to be careful...) - be MINDFUL if you want to enable Inventory History for "everything" ... that can lead to a HUGE amount of DB-clogging (especially in large environments). There's a plethora of things that "change every time" the device scans (from simple things such as "run time of the last inventory scan" to "OS Uptime" type of things) ... if we have even just 5 attributes that change, and 20,000 devices that send data in daily, that's 100,000 lines of changes per day.

Inventory History should be treated like Auditing - decide on what you care about, and then turn THAT on. Otherwise, chances are your DB is going to grow out of boundaries.

Hope this helps .
