ldiscnupdate.exe is a file that runs on the agent that helps to download updates to the ldappl3.ini file. This has to do with inventory.
To troubleshoot an issue with this EXE we would need to know the following;
How many clients does this happen on?
What version are you using?
What is the OS of the clients?
When did this start happening?
I would suspect you would need to open a case with support to further investigate if this is a continuous problem. If it is only a problem on one or two devices in your fleet you could also try to re-install the agent to see if that helps.
