I have searched the community and wasn't able to find an answer, so I hope to get some pointers and guidance. Back in Sept 2014, Microsoft made Windows 2012 R2 available to the general public. I took look at the OS > Name and OS > Version. Right now LANDesk shows the name as "Windows Server 2012", not R2. The version value for R2 does show 6.3 vs 6.2 for the regular version of Windows 2012.
I did look at Windows 2003 vs 2003 R2. Both OS Shows the same OS > Version, but have different names.
My basic question is: How do I add "Windows 2012 R2" as a valid OS Name?
We purchased Windows 2012 R2 licenese, and I need to be able to associate the keys accordingly. We are running LDMS 9.5. We will be updating to Sp1 soon, but I am not sure if this is addressed in the new version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
