Re: Cannot uninstall 9.6 console

Ok, so this is odd, its not specifying a GUID for the mobility uninstall.. so maybe mobility isn't actually there... try this:

Change the mobility uninstall section to the following (just replace the path and paramaters)

<Path>notepad.exe</Path>

        <Parameters></Parameters>

save the file, then rename the setup.xml.bak to old

then run the setup again.. close notepad when it opens (this should bypass the component removal)

then

1. Delete Folders:
   1. 9.0 and 9.5 (or updgraded 9.6) -  C:\Programdata\LANDesk\         -C:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk           -InstallDrive:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk
   2. 9.6 -  C:\Programdata\LANDesk\         -C:\Program Files\LANDesk           -InstallDrive:\Program Files\LANDesk
2. Remove from registry:
   1. HKLM\software\LANDesk
   2. HKLM\software\wow6432node\landesk and/or HKLM\software\landesk
   3. HKLM\software\wow6432node\intel\landesk and/or HKLM\software\intel\landesk
3. Reboot
