Thank you so much for responding!
If I may - - to make sure I understand. The flag I see in Landesk Inventory settings is just Landesk observing the Microsoft setting. And, since I am now "looking under the hood" at that I see a dirty secret that maybe two or three reboots are required for certain installs. although I could never see Microsoft Requiring multiple reboots for a single patch very often. So, whether it is needed after the first re-boot or not, it's needed that often to clear the flag.
If a flag doesn't seem to clear, may be indicative or a problem on that client? First, please verify I am understanding your response.
What would be a good way to determine machines that don't clear that flag, I wonder? When i check security and patch information, on some machines I see this odd "reboot needed/not needed" dance dance going on when I look at repair history. No other activity on machine recently. Just an entry saing a reboot is needed, then a subsequent one ad aya later saying its not, then is, not etc . . . .
