Query to Select CI Item to associate to a Change?

Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone has found a way of easily associating multiple CI's to a change using a search criteria? For example: associate all desktop CIs that are running a specific O/S version as they will all be affected?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
