In webdesk, You can do almost the same:
In object designer on user (or end user, or whatever) prepare set of output attributes:
in my case it was CI and name, serial and manufacturer :
on window turn end user as a complex list , and set this list to use defined set of output attributes:
As result You'll get in webdesk a list looks like that:
Whatever You'll enter into field, list will be checked "on the fly" all three atributes, so part of title, serial or manufacturer could be used to find proper CI, or user.
