the only processes that are taking a lot of resources are the w3wp & as I indicated, those have gone down a bit since installing SP1, but still seem a bit on the high side since prior versions.
dbrepair was run at the same time coredbutil was run before & after updating to 9.6 - all keys seemed to be valid keys we are targeting for inventory.
below is my task manager sorted by Mem usage... Nothing notable in event viewer that stands out.
