I am trying to add the hardware ID of the USD 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter to the exceptions list for the Surface Pro 3 that my company is evaluating. Is there a way to do this without having it get blocked first. Since this is the ethernet connection to the network, it disables the connection every time I place Endpoint Security into blocking mode for the USB. This prevents it from showing up in the management console on the core, where you can go to Security Activity and add it to the exceptions list. The network connection isn't able to be enabled for the connection until I uninstall the agent from the Surface Pro 3. I know the hardware ID and other information that is needed to be included in the exception, however, I don't know how to manually add it to the exception list. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
