You need a preferred server entry for the server that has the share where you are trying to write the image to. LDMS will use this entry to provide credentials for the client to connect to the share on this device.
If this is the source location only and wont be used as a full preferred server you can enter a dummy IP range so this entry will only be used for the connection credentials.
