To accommodate the fact that the Transfer to Live utility does not move CI definitions between environments I find myself in the position of having to manually perform an export and import of the CI data to ensure we keep everything up to date.
With a little bit of effort - overcome when the forum pointed me at the fact you have to start from asset management rather than configuration management to get the internal name business object - I have got a filter to export all of the relevant fields associated with our Service Request CI definition. The exported excel spread sheet is attached as CI from TRAIN.xlsx generated by using the fllter shown in the cifilter.png screen dump
The issue is in the destination environment I can set up the Generic Data Source data connector and test it successfully, however, when attempting to create the New Connection Type it does not include all of the columns present in the spread sheet -it appears to ignore all of that were declared as Boolean data types in the source system which have been exported as FALSE, TRUE or null
Any ideas on how to get the missing columns included?
