I recently upgraded our LANDesk server to 9.5 and upgraded a small department as our test bed for agent deployments. I have since had to roll back to LANDesk 9.0. I have redeployed the agent back to the test bed machines. They show up in the devices and I can remote control them but the inventory icon doesn't pop up and I can't push anything out to them. They come back with a result of Cannot Find Agent and status of OFF. My initial hunch is that I'm going to have to run the uninstaller on all of those machines first then push out the agent again. I don't want to have to do that because I know that's going to mean having to touch each individual workstation since I won't be able to use LANDesk to push the uninstall. Any suggestions? Thanks.
