How significant a difference? Could it be isolated to the stub records you get from PXE booting machines? Could it just be their roles don't show them machines that could be eligible for provisioning jobs but are not yet fully under management?

Maybe do a simple export of the devices in the list from each console and then compare in something like excel to find out the differences.
