If it is not on your end then what is the best way to inform HP and Dell of the probelm and then get it fixed. Is this something LANDesk should do or is it something one of of us should do? All I know is how to put a band-aid to the problem. I don't know specifically how your software works. If I contact them, they will more than likely just brush me off. If someone from LANDesk calls they may take the issue a little more serious. The laptops I know it affects are the HP 820, HP 840, Dell E7440, and Dell 7420. There may be more. Perhaps the band-aid is good enough but what I don't completely understand is what we loose by disabling Multicast in the registry. I don't think we are using any Muticasting in the company but it would be nice to know an example of something I cannot do with that feature disabled. Can you expand on that?
