I think the issue is just us - we've sent off our database to support.
But I can't see how we can use Mobile Self Service anyway as it is showing some very odd behaviour (for instance it won't show standalone labels, read-only fields and date fields when first logging calls).
I've also raised this with support as I believe that if you can't *choose* what dashboards/content that MSS displays then it logically needs to be able to show the same form fields as Self Service does, otherwise we won't be able to use said fields in Self Service either, and hence not in WebDesk!
Again this might just be a problem with our setup. Am hoping it is because that means there will be a way to fix...
