THere is a way to show all records assigned to all groups a user is a member of.

Grab the zip file "All Requests and IPC for all my groups.zip" and use design transfer to import into the system.
Then copy this query and name it appropriately.
Then I would adjust the criteria to contain Status Contains "Awaiting Auth" AND Current Assignment.Group.Users.User is current user OR Current Assignment User is current user.
Then apply a report template to clean it up for the self service. Something like:
