"The extended attributes are inconsistent" result when running AV scan

This week I noticed the number of "out of date" devices under LANDesk AV was growing.   I ran a critical area AV scan against these machines and checked the "update definitions first".

Almost every device in this category returns the "The extended attributes are inconsistent" error. 

In searching I can't find a posting or question regarding this error.

Any help in directing me to the cause or solution for this error?
