The boot camp teaches you the basics of Service Desk. When I took it I thought I knew everything. Then the consultant came in and worked his magic to create our process and I found out I knew nothing. But that training was enough that I could follow what the consultant did and then make changes to make their process better. Eventually I got to the point where I think I know quite a bit again but smart enough to know I will never know it all. Highly recommend using consulting services to jump start your project, it's well worth the time and money. It's some of the best money you will spend.
