This is what support said to changing version numbers in editor:
Exporting and Importing distribution packages and scheduled task from LDMS 9 to LDMS 9.5?

I did it anyways, because we have too.
We only have 1 server and we're switching from server 2008 r2 to 2012 r2, so we will have downtime.
To prevent errors i installed 9.6 on a normal workstation to test everything and prepare.
I imported the deployment packeges by changing the version numbers and tested them. It seems that they all work.
Now i can export them from my 9.6 testcore, so they should be clean.?.
Also tested to import the old certificate, because the agents will need to respond, to the new core server. (But this is a different story )
I guess we got what we wanted. Still there should be a tool in the future for importing old scripts to newer versions.
Example: You import an old script and the normal form for creating a deployment package opens, with all the information from the old one. Then you can edit the new functions and save it.
Or just do a button where it says "You're going to import older Deployment packages! You really want?" Yes,No....and then you maybe get a log what worked or failed and what functions are unable to import or need to be changed.
