Just to be sure, make sure that the foreign key guid for their user type matches up to that the tps_guid for the Analyst user_type is within the database on that tps_user table. I dont remember the table names off the top of my head, but that should be the key here to making sure those rows update considering the errors you mentioned you're encountering.
If the foreign key is truly the analyst user type guid, something else must be going on. Lets double check that first and then go forward because that is what that error is complaining about.
