We need to move our Service Desk and LDMS databases. Based on what I've done in the past with upgrading LDSD and my experience in installing the CORE, etc it appears that it's just a matter of backing and restoring the database on the SQL side and then pointing the respective applications to the new location. For LDMS, RDP to the CORE and hit Configure ->Services ->General and update the Database settings. For Service Desk, browse to http:\\<LDSD>\Configurationcenter and update the database information in the Configured Applications. In both cases, the DB name isn't changing at all just the server.
Am I missing some crucial important piece or should it be this easy?
We are currently on 9.5SP3 for LDMS and Service Desk 7.7.3.
