It's LANDesk 9.6... the specific version is 9.60.0.244.  The only patch I've installed is the one that enables support for Mac OS X v10.10 "Yosemite".

While it does add the user, when you set it up they inherit all permissions from the group. So if you remove them from the group, they should no longer have access to login to the console and what not

We had the same issue with all of our windows 8.1 surfaces.  As soon as we installed the LANDesk agent we were not longer able to run many of the apps from the Microsoft store.
